Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 has been a blast so far with an entirely new map for players to explore as well as the much-anticipated Spider-Man crossover, among other pop culture collabs.
However, the popular Epic Games battle royale is known for being a game that’s constantly evolving. So, its no wonder that fans are beginning to wonder when we can expect Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 to arrive.
While there’s plenty more to come from the current season, it’s also time to look ahead the next major update and what it's likely to bring to the game.
Here’s what you need to know about the end date for Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1, when Season 2 is set to begin and what you can expect from it.
When will Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 end?
Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 is currently scheduled to end on Saturday, March 19 2022. The most recent season of Fortnite also ended on a Saturday, with a huge live event known as The End. This suggests that we could be in for another big finale event.
While it's unlikely – since most recent seasons have ended on schedule – there's always a chance that Epic Games could extend the season, like they've a few times previously.

Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 3 is likely to start on Sunday, March 19, 2022. Epic Games hasn't publicly confirmed this date yet, however, previous trends suggest that a new season usually begins within 24 hours of the previous season's conclusion.
Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 began on a Sunday, so it seems wise to expect the Fortnite Season 2 start date to also fall on that day of the week.
What can we expect from Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2?
There hasn't been any official details about Season 2 released yet, but there are several speculations based on the current season.
Some players have suggested that there could be a war between The Seven and the Imagined Order in the new season, especially since the two sides are currently fighting for control of the Island.
We might also be introduced to the remaining members of The Seven: The Origin and The Sisters. Two skins were recently included in a survey sent out to players – so these could make an appearance.
There's very little information on what’s going to be in the Chapter 3: Season 2 Battle Pass, as Epic Games often doesn't reveal much about this until launch day.
While we're also some time away from leaks, there have rumours on what it could include – with one theory suggesting we might get a Star Wars season, similar to the Marvel season, or at least a Star Wars character in the Battle Pass.
