Young Boys smash SEVEN past Swiss rivals Basel after Manchester United defeat

The Swiss Super League side lost 3-0 to Jose Mourinho's men in the Champions League group stages following a masterclass from Paul Pogba.

But the Young Boys continued their perfect start to the season when they welcomed Marcel Koller's side to the Stade de Suisse.

Christian Fassnacht opened the scoring before Miralem Sulejmani doubled the tally to make it 2-0 before half-time.

Mohamed Aly Camara,  Guillaume Hoarau and Michel Aebischer then found the net before Ricky van Wolfswinkel pulled one back for the visitors.

Eder Alvarez Balanta was sent off before Leonardo Bertone and Roger Assale scored as the Group H side made it seven wins from seven.

During Wednesday's match against United, Pogba was reportedly closely watched by Barcelona scouts.

The French World Cup winner scored two goals before Anthony Martial made it three.

And Diogo Dalot was praised by United fans for his impressive performance after he replaced Antonio Valencia at right-back.

But Jose Mourinho went out of his way after the match to complain that his players were at risk because they had to play on a plastic pitch.

United appeared to be high spirits as they posed for selfies and signed autographs when they touched down in England.

But the Reds lost their momentum this weekend and only managed a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Old Trafford yesterday.
