WOLVES have signed Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo on a season long loan.
It comes after Arsenal signed Dani Ceballos until the end of the campaign.
The Spain Under-21 star completed a medical yesterday and is set to train with Wanderers on Monday.
Vallejo, 22, who only had four Real starts last term due to injury, met his new team-mates after their 2-0 Europa League win over Crusaders on Thursday.
He dropped further down the pecking order at Real Madrid this summer following the arrival of Porto's Eder Militao.
Zinedine Zidane sees a big future for Vallejo and was happy to sanction his loan in order for him to gain valuable first team experience.
He signed from Zaragoza in 2015 before being loaned back to his boyhood club before another temporary stint at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Wolves are also after AC Milan and Italy striker Patrick Cutrone, 21, after agreeing a £17million deal in principle with the Italian giants.
AC Milan are willing to cash in because they are looking to recoup funds due to Financial Fair Play restrictions.
The player is currently with the club in the US as he gears up for the new season.
Cutrone, 21, came through the youth system at AC Milan and made his senior debut in a win over Bologna in 2017.
He was on the fringes of the first-team last season scoring three times in 34 league appearances but 22 of those came from the substitute bench.
