Why is Alexis Sanchez not playing for Manchester United?
Alexis Sanchez will not be playing in the Champions League clash against Juventus tonight.
Manager Jose Mourinho confirmed the news in his press conference after the Chilean forward missed training on Monday.
Sanchez joined Marouane Fellani, Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot who were all missing from the session.
Speaking in the press conference, Mourinho said: "The players you saw are the ones who are available.
"Nothing to hide. Alexis is out."
No comment has been as to why Sanchez is not available but he has only played for a full 90 minutes once this season, in the 2-1 win over Leicester on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
When do Manchester United face Juventus?
This match will take place on Tuesday, October 23, it will kick-off at 8pm.
The group stage clash will be held at Old Trafford.
It will be shown live on BT Sport 2 and BT sport 4K UHD, coverage will start at 7pm.
