In a bizarre moment, the Ukrainian side's captain spat on his hands and rubbed it on his FACE ahead of kick-off.
Cameras caught midfielder Chesnakov, 30, performing the odd ritual before his side's evening at the Emirates Stadium.
In the video, Chesnakov appears to spit on his left hand before rubbing all over his chops in the tunnel before kick-off.
The Vorskla captain then repeats the strange ritual in a video that has already received over 400,000 views on social media.
Chesnakov has not commented on the video – or the bonkers pre-match ritual – yet.
One social media user even likened the antics to an animal, saying: "Cats wash themselves this way, but he is not a cat!"
Another simply added: "But why?"
A third even joked: "At least he's not spitting on other people like Douglas Costa."
The game ended 4-2 to Arsenal and Chesnakov scored his side's first goal with an impressive left-footed strike.
