Dozens of supporters threw vicious punches at each other – and kept swinging away even as a huge security team intervened.
The cause of the disgraceful scrap is not known.
But the fans responsible were eventually hauled out of the stands, with all eyes reverting back to the fight they'd paid to see.
In the ring, Warrington stunned Frampton in a thriller to retain his IBF featherweight crown, winning on all three judges scorecards, 116-113, 116-112, 116-112.
And the pair shared a classy moment after the fight too, as they talked each other up to the crowd – and continued the love-in backstage.
After his loss, Frampton said: "The best man won. He's a very good fighter and a much harder puncher than anyone has given him credit for.
"I was hurt a number of times in the fight. he won the fight fair and square.
"I genuinely hope he goes on and unifies the division. It will make my performance a little bit better if he does and I hope he knocks them all out too."
Meanwhile, Frank Warren called the showdown the "best ever fight" in Britain.
Warren claimed: “That for me is the best title fight I’ve ever seen in a British ring.
“Two superb athletes, the manner it was fought, the pace the tempo, everything, and importantly the sportsmanship, touching gloves at the end of each round.
“That’s what boxing is about. The best I’ve seen in a British ring.”
