Footage appeared to show Tui and a man coming together down near the fence but details are unclear at this stage what started the confrontation. Rugby Australia was aware of the incident.

Reece Hodge was being interviewed by Fox Sports’ Rod Kafer during the incident.

Former Wallabies captain Phil Kearns said on the Fox Sports broadcast after footage was shown: "The fans are frustrated. The Wallabies put on some really good play but the frustration is they can't do it regularly."
