The Belgian shot-stopper, who joined the Bernabeu side from Chelsea for £38million in the summer, chose not to include himself in the list.
Instead he selected Liverpool's summer recruit Allison, Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak and Barcelona's Ter Stegen.
And his decision to omit David De Gea, who recently had his one-year extension triggered by United, has undoubtedly raised eyebrows.
The United shot-stopper is one of the most highly-rated keepers around.
He won the Premier League golden glove last term and also was awarded Man United's player of the season twice in a row.
But his ability clearly hasn't caught the attention of Courtois, 26, who won the Golden Glove at the 2018 World Cup.
Speaking on his decision to the Mirror, the former Chelsea keeper said: "They are all great goalkeepers, but I do not know who is the best, I could not go for one.
Courtois has not had the best time since his dream move to the Spanish capital.
He has a dismal record of conceding so far, letting in 18 goals in 11 La Liga appearances.
But the 6 ft 5 keeper will be hoping his side can get a win and a clean sheet against Valencia on Saturday night.
Los Blancos poor start to the season continued in their last La Liga outing with a 3-0 loss to Eibar.
