Sunday's horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today's racing from Callum Jamieson

I reckon the tip-top trainer holds the key to the 1.45 at Exeter with CHAMBARD.

The son of Gris De Gris was a a pretty decent horse in France, beating smart mare Countister in a Grade 1 bumper.

He also finished a neck behind the talented Cut The Mustard, so it's hardly surprising a lot was expected of him on his move to British shores.

However, he was thoroughly disappointing on his first two starts over hurdles following a break of nearly two years, showing little of the quality that made owners David and Carol Shaw fork out the big bucks.

He was a lot more promising last time at Ffos Las, though, finishing a seven-length second to a very decent sort called Monsieur Lecoq.

How that he's got his act together again this kind of contest should be his for the taking, particularly as his trainer is fielding winners for fun.

The ground should be ideal and although it's a big field, there's plenty of dead wood.
