Spain's Women's World Cup stars party on a yacht in Ibiza as they celebrate beating England's Lionesses in final | The Sun

SPAIN'S World Cup heroines were united in bask country as they relaxed on a yacht and revelled with watersports.

England's final conquerors celebrated in Ibiza as they put to one side the scandal over Spanish FA president Luis Rubiale kissing Jenni Hermoso on the lips as the record scorer picked up her winner's medals.

And it was Hermioso who often looked the most active.

The Madrid-born attacker, who plays for Pachuca, took a dip with an inflatable, joined team-mates paddling in a dinghy and went water-boarding.

Meanwhile, Sunday's surprise matchwinner Olga Carmona wore a white bikini as she beamed towards the camera after a swim.

The Spaniards also waded ashore at a beach – looking more like excited day-trippers than players savouring the greatest achievement possible in their sport.

Carmona has perhaps had a more emotional week than any of her team-mates.

After scoring the only goal against the Lionesses, the Real Madrid left-back learnt hours later of her father's death.

But Spain's stars wore winning smiles as they appear to be a squad unified by their growing success Down Under – less than a year after 15 players refused to appear under coach Jorge Vilda.

Rubiales took only three of the reluctant 15 to Australia – leaving behind big names like Barcelona trio Mapi Leon, Patri Guijarro and Claudia Pina.

But the country got together – be it fans from Real Madrid or Barca or wherever – as Spain's battling route to Sunday's showpiece peaked with an impressive triumph over favourites England.

Even after victory, however, it's been a controversial time for some.

In particular, Rubiales, the country's leading football official, has faced calls to resign amid more allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
