DRINK prices for Royal Ascot have been revealed.
And beer costs have been hiked significantly, with sun-drenched punters also forced to splash £37.50 for a jug of Pimms.
Horse racing fans are out in their droves for one of the biggest events of the year.
Over 100,000 people — including King Charles II — are turning out to watch stars like Frankie Dettori in action.
And it’s sure to be a thirsty occasion, with temperatures rising into the high 20s.
However, there will also be a high price to pay for quenching said thirst.

That’s because a single pint of beer costs £7.40 this year.
It marks a significant increase from last year’s cost of £6.
But that’s not the only alcoholic beverage that has shot up at Ascot.
A glass of wine has increased by 50p to £8.

And a gin and tonic costs a massive £8.90 — having been just £5.60 last year.
For those looking to splash the cash, a jug of Pimms can be purchased for the princely sum of £37.50.
And a bottle of champagne will set punters back a king’s ransom, fetching £72.
But for those lucky enough to see their betting slips come through, it’s just horses for courses.
Punters at the bars were mixed.
One said: "It's f***ing dear isn't it."
But another added: "To be honest, it’s pretty standard these days. It’s £7-8 a pint at the pub too"
