Randy Orton, 41, reveals date he will retire as WWE legend assures fans he is going nowhere yet

WWE legend Randy Orton stated he wants to continue wrestling for another decade.

Orton is among the most celebrated veterans in professional wrestling today but has reached the advanced age of 41.

However, The Viper is not even considering retirement at this stage as he believes he's got another 10 years in him before hanging up his wrestling boots.

Orton told TMZ when asked about retirement: "I just turned 40 a year ago. I got another decade in me. We'll see. We'll see."

It's not unusual for a wrestler to continue performing in the ring in his 40s or even 50s.

The Legend Killer's mentors Ric Flair and Triple H kept on going at top level when they were much older than their former protege.

And it's not unlikely that the 14-time world champion will follow in their footsteps as he still looks up to them.

In fact, the American grappler started considering about a future Hall of Fame induction, something that is bound to happen following his glittering career.

And the Apex Predator has considered Triple H as well as Flair as potential candidates to induct him into the wrestling pantheon.

The ex-WWE Champion even joked about former rival John Cena being the man for the job, if he manages to find some time off his Hollywood career.

Orton added: "Hunter [Triple H] came up. Cena came up. Flair came up.

"But, you know I don't know if I can get Cena to come in from Hollywood to do it. Maybe he could do it virtually."

Orton has beaten some of the all-time WWE greats throughout his 20-year career, such as The Undertaker, Mick Foley, Cena and many more.
