Pulisic set to make Chelsea debut just days after cutting holiday short to arrive early for pre-season – The Sun

CHRISTIAN PULISIC is in line for his Chelsea debut tomorrow – just nine days after playing for the USA.

Blues fans are desperate to see their new man in action – especially with the transfer ban hanging over them.

And Pulisic, 20, cut his holiday short as he looks to make his bow after signing in January.

He met his new team-mates and boss Frank Lampard on Tuesday ahead of the clash against Kawasaki Frontale.

Pulisic told GAFFER Magazine: "When I think of this club, there's a lot of great players that come to mind.

"I grew up watching Frank Lampard and all of those guys at the top of their game in the Premier League and in the Champions League.

"To me, Chelsea were always one of the biggest teams and now to be playing here, it's really come full circle from that moment. It feels amazing."

Pulisic helped the US reach the Gold Cup final this summer but saw his side beaten 1-0 by Mexico.

He will be tasked with filling Eden Hazard's shoes after the Belgian's megabucks Real Madrid move.

And the former Dortmund star added: "I think I have a lot of speed and creativity that I can bring to the game – quickness and different attacking abilities that can really help the team.

"I think I have some tools that can really do well in this league. I just can't wait."
