Pedro Neto next club – latest transfer odds: Arsenal lead Man Utd after Wolves slap £50m price tag on winger | The Sun

WOLVES have slapped a £50million price tag on Pedro Neto after Arsenal's reported interest.

But Sky Bet reckon it's more likely he'll stay at Molineux than make the switch to North London in this window.

The bookmakers go 4/7 that the 22-year-old stays put amid increased transfer speculation.

The Gunners are reportedly in talks to land the Portuguese star and view him as a Nicolas Pepe replacement.

It was also reported that Arsenal were willing to splash around £35million to land Neto, who has five years left on his bumper contract.

He missed a large chunk of last season, managing just one goal and one assist in 13 games.

Arsenal won't be held to ransom for his signature and Wolves have slapped a £50million price tag on him.

That despite signing a ready made replacement in £27.5million Goncalo Guedes.

Arsenal are resigned to taking a massive hit on £72million, club-record signing Pepe who is set to join Nice on loan with an option to buy next summer for around £15m.

Despite that, they have spent £120m this summer on Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner and Marquinhos.

Neto is viewed as the extra piece in the attacking jigsaw as the club are the only side to start the Premier League with three wins from three.

The Gunners are 6/4 to sign him this summer, with Manchester United next best at 10/1.

It looks therefore that it'll be between Wolves and Arsenal as to where he'll be playing his football this year.

Barcelona, Liverpool and Spurs are 16/1, ahead of Chelsea and Newcastle at 18/1.

West Ham are the outsiders of the lot at 25/1.
