Paul Pogba set to hold talks with Jose Mourinho after 'shock' of being dropped twice

The World Cup winner, 25, was left out of the starting line-up for the last two games – against Arsenal and Fulham.

Pogba and Mourinho's relationship has been strained all season with suggestions the player's attitude grates on the Special One.

However, now the former world-record buy wants to hold talks with the United boss in a bid to express his concerns and sort out his future, according to reports.

As well as being dropped for the games with Arsenal and Fulham, Pogba failed to start the last-gasp 1-0 win over Young Boys last month.

While Pogba came off the bench in that game – as well as for 15 minutes against Arsenal – he was left out altogether for Fulham.

In fact, during the game with the Cottagers, Scott McTominay was preferred as Mourinho's bench option.

News of crunch talks come on the back of Pogba reportedly claiming he feels "humiliated" and "singled out" by Mourinho.

Despite that, United appear to have no interest in selling the former Juventus star – and may be forced to bide his time on the bench.

Pogba could be set to return to the starting XI for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Valencia.
