Paul Pogba reveals rift with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, but denies he wants to quit for Barcelona

The future of Manchester United’s club-record signing has been up in the air all summer with reports suggesting he was desperate to sign for the La Liga big boys.

Pogba’s relationship with boss Mourinho has also been hot topic with plenty of suggestions the pair have fallen out beyond repair.

The 25-year-old, who has been linked with a return to Juventus aswell, did little to stop speculation this week by claiming the next few months will decide where his future lies.

Now he has spoken again to TeleFoot about his situation, and he revealed there have “always been little” problems between him and United’s manager.

Pogba said: “To speak about a transfer… I am under contract.

“There have always been little things with the coach, our relationship is still the same, manager-player. We have common objectives, which are to win.

“So long as you see that I am not in a Barcelona shirt, that is because I am at Manchester United, there will always be rumours.”

Pogba is currently on international duty with France and preparing to face Holland tonight in their second Nations League clash after a goalless draw with Germany on Thursday.

His relationship with Mourinho has been growing increasingly fractured with the United boss unhappy at the lack of discipline in his record signing's tactical play.

Their tense relationship has not been helped by the constant sniping from the midfielder's agent Mino Raiola, who has touted his man around Europe's biggest clubs.

Barcelona made their interest know over the close season but United have been unwilling to listen to offers for a player they broke the world record to sign from Juventus in 2016.

Yet Barca's interest has remained and this week Luis Suarez was the latest star at the club to urge the Frenchman to move to the Nou Camp.
