NEWCASTLE fans want a statue built for sporting director Dan Ashworth with the club nearing the signing of Tino Livramento.
The Toon are reportedly in advanced talks with the Southampton right-back as they eye a £12million deal.
Negotiations are ongoing with the relegated club wanting closer to £25million.
Livramento is highly-rated after playing a total of 34 games for the Saints following his move from Chelsea two years ago.
However, he featured just twice last season due to him suffering an ACL injury during April last year.
The 20-year-old could come in to compete with Kieran Trippier at right-back and allow Javier Manquillo to leave permanently and youngster Harrison Ashby to go out on loan.
