There are few things more difficult in sports than hitting a pitch from an MLB pitcher. When that pitcher is Clayton Kershaw, the task gets even more difficult.
Just ask Erik Kratz.
During the fourth inning of Wednesday’s NLCS Game 5 in Los Angeles, Kershaw had the Brewers catcher way out front on a filthy 73 mph curveball. Kratz had no chance with his swing, and he knew it almost immediately.
