Thanks to his recent decision to grow his hair, basketball star Nihad Djedovic now bares an uncanny resemblance to the self-proclaimed 'God of goals'.
Ibrahimovic may never have played in Germany, but his doppelganger plays for top flight basketball team Bayern Munich.
And he appears to have followed suit in more than just the looks department- since the Swedish football sensation scooped a ton of awards during his career, his lookalike decided to do the same.
The Bosnian international basketball player has said that since he made the decision to grow his hair he has received a lot more attention as people believe he is the football sensation, thanks to their uncanny physical similarity.
In an interview with Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Djedovic said: He has a Balkanic, or ex-Yugoslavian genes, so I think people see something in me that they saw in him.
There are, however, several glaring differences.
Djedovic and the former Manchester United player look similar, but in fact he's nine years younger than the former Swedish international.
And while Ibrahimovic may have scored from his head four times United, thanks to his presence in the box, he is still three inches shorter than his six-foot-six inch shooting guard doppelganger.
The 28-year-old said: " Since I'm growing my hair now, every day somebody tags me on Instagram or Twitter or something, every day."
But it hasn't just been on social media that fans have noticed a similarity, when the six-foot-six-inch shooting guard went to Paris, where Ibrahimovic spent four years playing for Paris Saint-Germain, he was constantly stopped for pictures.
He said: "This summer I was in Paris for three days and, I cannot say every person, but every second person in the street stopped me to make photos with me. It's incredible."
The pair have also spent time at the same club, albeit in different sports.
Ibrahimovic became one of the world's most expensive players when he moved from Inter Milan to Barcelona, but Djedovic's move to the Spanish clubs didn't require such deep pockets.
Djedovic has played for some of Europe's biggest basketball clubs including Barcelona and Galatasaray. He signed for Bayern Munich in 2013 and has been a Basket Bundesliga (BBL) all-star three times.
While he is flying high in the basketball world, he hasn't quite experienced the same stratospheric rise to the top that the football star has.
During his interview, the Bosnian even allowed for his face to be included on a mock up of Ibrahimovic's autobiography 'I Am Zlatan' featuring Djedovic on the front with the title 'I Am Not Zlatan'.
While Djedovic seems happy at his current club, Ibrahimovic isn't one to rest on his laurels.
AC Milan have not ruled out bringing Ibrahimovic back on board- six years after he left the Italian club for PSG.
The Swede steered Milan to the last Serie A title in 2011 and is still idolised by the San Siro faithful, thanks to his goal haul which saw him score 56 goals in 85 games.
But, LA Galaxy are desperate to hold onto their star striker.
