Mason Greenwood ‘puts his Cheshire mansion up for let for more than £15,000-per-month’, amid speculation the Manchester United forward is set to leave the club on loan this summer
- Mason Greenwood has undergone private training sessions with a coach
- The 21-year-old is still under internal investigation overseen by Man United
- Greenwood has been linked with a move abroad on loan in the summer window
Mason Greenwood has reportedly put his mansion up for let – adding to speculation that he could be set for a move away from Manchester United this summer.
The Sun have reported that his six-bed, six bathroom property is being circulated privately among high-end letting agents for more than £15,000-per-month.
It comes after he was pictured training for the first time since his arrest in 2022, at an £85-an-hour public sports centre pitch with a private coach on Thursday.
The player, who is under contract at Man United until 2025, is still undergoing an internal investigation to decide his future, but charges against Greenwood for attempted rape and assault were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February of this year following ‘the withdrawal of key witnesses’.
His name was included on the Red Devils’ list of retained players released to the Premier League last week, and there are thought to have been discussions about a potential loan move to Italy, Spain, or Turkey.

As reported by the Sun, the property in Bowdon, Cheshire, has a games room, a home office, gym, staff accommodation and is described as the ‘perfect family home’.
Mail Sport reported in March that Man United had reportedly rejected offers for their player from a number of Turkish clubs.
Greenwood is yet to play under the Dutch manager, who joined the club in the summer of 2022, but has reportedly already spoken to Ten Hag.
When asked about the prospect of Greenwood’s return to the squad, the former Ajax coach stressed heavily that he was not involved in the decision-making.
The player reportedly has a pessimistic outlook on his United future and is said to have shared with friends in late April that he thinks he may never feature for his boyhood club again.
Ten Hag’s players are believed to be split over whether they think their team-mate should return, whilst Man United Women players are thought to be ‘deeply uncomfortable’ about the prospect of his return.

The Red Devils will reportedly not wait for their ownership situation to be resolved to make a decision on the future of the youngster.
United fans are currently waiting to find out who out of Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has won the long-running battle for control from the Glazers.
The Telegraph says that battle will have no impact on whether or not Greenwood remains at the club.
