Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku slows for horses in his £100,000 Mercedes sports car as he approaches training ahead of Brighton clash

The big Belgian ace, 25, cruised into Carrington to keep his engine tuned ahead of the trip to Brighton for Sunday's Premier League clash.

Lukaku came on as a substitute in the second half of Manchester United's 2-1 win over Leicester at Old Trafford as Luke Shaw scored his first goal for the club.

The 23-year-old also cruised up to the AON Training Complex with his  girlfriend Anouska Santos, who covered her face with a mobile phone.

Paul Pogba was chauffeur driven to the training ground, while Nemanja Matic, Eric Bailly and Ashley Young all cruised in.

Spanish pals Juan Mata and Ander Herrera whizzed in together and Jesse Lingard gave a wave as he returned after being rested for the opening game.

Boss Jose Mourinho has told Pogba he will remain as Manchester United captain and declared himself pleased with the Frenchman — despite a rift between the pair.

Meanwhile striker Lukaku rang the praises of his club boss Mourinho.

He told Business Insider: "People are always, like, you know, they try to judge him in a certain way in saying, he's like this, he's like that, but he just gives you an image of him.

"But on the side, I get to see a total different image of him where he's really cool. We make jokes.

"He would send me like sometimes good advice, or funny videos. He's really a family guy.

"That's how I know him. We have a good relationship. It's nice to play for him."
