Man Utd boost as injured star spotted back in training ahead of Premier League finale | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED have received an injury boost after Luke Shaw took part in training on Friday.

The defender was taken off at half-time against Chelsea on Thursday, sparking fears he could miss the FA Cup final next week.

But Erik ten Hag offered an encouraging update in his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Fulham on Sunday.

He said: "Luke Shaw, we have to see. I don't think it's too bad but we have to wait 24 hours. We'll have a diagnosis and we will know more."

Shaw, 27, was spotted in training at Carrington on Friday and looked in good spirits ahead of the final Premier League weekend.

The England international has been a key player for United this season and crucial to their Champions League qualification.

He has been ever-reliant for Ten Hag and performed well when called upon, whether at left-back or at centre-back.

Shaw could be in contention to start against Fulham and if he passes fit he will be sure to play against Manchester City at Wembley.

Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were also all smiles as the United squad soaked up the sun.

Several stars wore tank tops as they enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere after securing a top-four place with the victory over Chelsea.
