MANCHESTER CITY want to return to the USA for their pre-season tour next summer, according to reports.
Pep Guardiola's squad were branded "arrogant" by state media during their trip to China.
An opinion piece claimed the Citizens failed to engage with local fans in their second trip to the country.
Guardiola insists he side enjoyed the tour despite issues with their plane cutting it two days short.
But the Manchester Evening News claims City are keen to return to the USA in 2020.
Guardiola has not ruled out a return to the Far East but hinted it will not be next year.
He said: "For us it's a new experience every season, it will help on the pitch and we did it last season.
"And off the pitch we are showing what an amazing club we are and how we are trying to be better every season.
"Sooner or later we'll come back – sure."

City beat West Ham 4-1 in their tour opener before missing out on penalties to Wolves in the Premier League Asia Trophy final.
Guardiola's side then routed Kitchee 6-1 in Hong Kong before heading to Japan where they secured a 3-1 victory over Yokohama F Marinos.
The Prem champs will hope to land an early blow on Liverpool in the Community Shield on August 4 ahead of beginning their defence with a trip to West Ham.
