Man City stars party at chic nightclub as threat of Champions League ban intensifies

Pep Guardiola's side celebrated in the chic Chinawhite nightclub in London following Tuesday's last-gasp win over Leicester.

They started their evening at The Great Northern Warehouse – which was ironically lit up with red lights as they arrived.

Guardiola's squad then moved onto the nightclub in Fitzrovia and they entered through the backdoor to avoid any unnecessary attention.

The players dressed to impress, but fashion icons Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus stood out from the crowd.

Mendy, who is stuck on the sidelines after knee surgery, paired his top hat with some sunglasses and a military-style black jacket.

But the 24-year-old uploaded a clip of team-mate Bernardo Silva and labelled him as "the most beautiful guy."

Brazilian superstar Jesus was instantly recognisable in his bright orange trainers and matching cap.

Manchester City's stars partied into the night as Uefa stepped up their investigation into alleged Financial Fair Play cheating.

The governing body has now made an agreement with the Premier League to share information about the club from their separate enquiries.

Last year's Premier League champions could be booted out of the Champions League if they are found to be guilty.

Uefa are investigating reports that £59.5m from Etihad Airline in 2015 went to the club's owners instead of the club.

And the Premier League are also looking into the alleged manipulation of sponsorship money.

La Liga president Javier Tebas called for the Blues to be axed from the competition for a year.

The team are under the microscope, but their attention will be on Saturday's showdown with Crystal Palace.
