The Spanish striker is desperate to use the opportunity presented by Harry Kane's injury to prove he is worth an extension to his current deal which runs out this summer.
The 33-year-old scored the winning goal as Spurs beat Watford 2-1 last night despite squandering two good chances to find the net before then.
And having struck twice in his three games since Kane was ruled out until March with an ankle injury, Llorente is hoping an offer from the club will come.
talkSPORT say clubs in China and Turkey have already registered an interest in snapping him up on a free transfer in the close season.
Turkish giants Galatasaray are among those sides, but the Spanish international would prefer to stay as a squad player under Mauricio Pochettino.
He seems content with his role playing back-up to Kane, and there is an argument keeping him for a further year would be sound business sense for Spurs.
But Llorente still has to prove he can make an impact when he does play before Pochettino and Daniel Levy will be convinced enough to offer him new terms.
Speaking after the Watford game, Llorente said: “It’s really difficult because Harry is one of the best in the world.
“The most difficult thing is to be fit when you don’t play because the only way to be fit is to play 90 minutes.
“Training is important but the game is the game. Now I feel every game, I feel much better. Today I feel good. Now I’m very focused to help the team and do my best.
“It is probably the most important goal I have scored here at Tottenham. It was my dream.
“When you dream of days like this and finally it happens, it’s amazing. Now I enjoy the moment because we haven’t got a lot of time to enjoy.”
