Doubters seem to have forgotten the ex-McDonald’s worker only had 26 amateur fights before becoming British and Commonwealth champion.
But the 26-year-old says he will remind them of his power and potential when he returns to the ring on February 2.
He said: “I will show a little bit more of myself. I've been boxing a bit safe, within myself.
"Safe in the sense that I know I'm a big, strong guy, with power. I just rely on that, because it's safe.
"Now I'm going to show a bit more skill I believe, a bit more relaxation.
"I think I'm past the stage of caring now about being undefeated.
"As much as I've shown with the people I've fought, I've been too much thinking 'what are people going to say, if I take the risk and lose?'
"But now I actually just don't care anymore, I'm just going to go out there and have fun."
Ex-WBA and IBF champ Denis Lebedev is being lined up for a future fight and Okolie, nicknamed The Sauce, says he is a perfect target.
He said: “Yeah, 100 per cent, that's a fight I would take, sooner rather than later.
"As soon as you get to the top-10 fighters in the world, they're all going to be good.
“I don't really over-think it anymore. I just train, get myself in shape, and just try and learn from every fight.”
