Kepa's Wikipedia page changed as fans hit out at Chelsea keeper after he sensationally refuses to be subbed against Man City in Carabao Cup final

The Stamford Bridge No1 sparked touchline chaos, embarrassment for furious boss Maurizio Sarri and a social media backlash after he refused to be replaced by Willy Caballero just before the Carabao Cup final shootout that Manchester City won 4-3.

One Wikipedia amendment labelled the 24-year-old "the most unprofessional b*****d in the world" and added: "His mum didn't teach him any manners."

Another change said: "Kepa eventually became manager of Chelsea during the final minutes of extra time in the Carabao Cup final in 2019 and in the same match suffered his first defeat as manager."

Sarri has tried to downplay the angry clash that saw him storm away near the end of extra time – and only do an about-turn when he reached the edge of the tunnel.

The former Napoli chief said: "I misunderstood the problem and only realised the situation when the doctor arrived at the bench.

"It was a big misunderstanding because I understood the keeper had cramp and was unable to go to the penalties. But it was not cramp and could go to the penalties.

"He [Kepa] understood that I asked for a change for his physical problem and he said I haven't a physical problem. And he was right.

"I realised after when the doctor arrived. I have talked to him [Kepa] but only to clarify because now I have understand the situation."

But that explanation failed to halt the regular changes to kepahis Wikipedia page, which was quickly corrected each time.

And one tweet responded to a Wikipedia amendment said: "Imagine kepatrying this nonsense under John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba."

Another said: Love the Wikipedia updates, but reall sad for Sarri."
