Jason Witten’s first season in the Monday Night Football broadcast booth hasn’t been the instant Tomo Romo-esque success that ESPN had hoped for. Witten repeatedly struggles with articulating points and at times has issues with football analysis.
Monday’s broadcast of Redskins-Eagles had the potential to be a building moment for Witten. The Redskins had just claimed Rueben Foster days after an arrest on domestic violence charges. ESPN didn’t ignore the subject, and Witten – to his credit – blasted the Redskins for their “horrendous judgement.”
