CONOR MCGREGOR'S self-motivation techniques have been revealed following video footage shared online minutes before his fight with Chad Mendes.
The Irishman stepped into the octagon against the American dubbed the biggest fight of his career back in 2015.

It was a crucial period in his career and it has now been revealed how McGregor riled himself up to create history.
Moments before his walk out and with the Irish flag draped around his shoulders, the Notorious began speaking to himself.
He said: "Too much power, too clean, he's too small, too clean, too much distance, too much range, too much confidence."
McGregor can't keep still and is almost channelling the electric atmosphere inside the Las Vegas stadium.
One person commented on the video: "We need that Conor back."
And they won't need to wait much longer as he closes in on his first return to the sport since October 2018.
Irish superstar makes his anticipated cage comeback on January 18 having signed to face veteran Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC 246.
McGregor has spoken of his preparation in his bid to be back at the top of his game including his strict diet.
McGregor told Men’s Health: “I don’t eat takeaways. I don’t eat none of that.
“I’ll eat good-quality meats, good-quality greens, good-quality carbohydrates like sweet potato and butternut squash, and that is it.
“I have a sweet tooth — that would be where I’d put on some weight out of fighting, if somebody brings in a pack of cakes and coffee.”
He begins his morning with an Americano, and fuels a day of training in the gym with protein from meats and sugars from fruits.
McGregor told AskMen: “I eat good meat – chicken, salmon, some steak – and a lot of quality greens and some fruits like bananas.
“I eat eggs – an omelette with my Americano for a late breakfast or brunch.
“Getting enough protein is important when I train, to help build muscle and recover, so I’ll supplement with protein shakes.
“I drink mostly water or coconut water. It’s important to stay hydrated – first thing I do in the morning is stretch and drink water. ”
