Star Geelong midfielder Tim Kelly has given no indication about whether he will remain at the Cats in 2019 at Thursday night's best and fairest.
The 24-year-old finished equal runner-up in the best and fairest in his first season at the club, just behind the winner Mark Blicavs and tied with Brownlow medallist Patrick Dangerfield.
However he did not address his future in his acceptance speech smiling broadly and pausing as sections of the crowd yelled out "stay with the Cats" to Kelly.
Kelly remains contracted for 2019 but with three young children the West Australian is understood to be weighing up a return home with West Coast very keen on securing the smooth-moving midfielder.
Kelly said he loved being a Geelong player and thanked the club for the way they had treated him and his young family from the moment they drafted him with pick 24 in the 2017 national draft.
"I didn't exactly know where Geelong was … but you guys made the transition really smooth," Kelly said.
"I have achieved more than anything I set out to achieve."
Blicavs said they were respectful of Kelly and would leave it up to him and his family to make a decision.
"I'm sure he's weighing that up," Blicavs said of Kelly.
"I think he's loved Geelong, he's had a great year there and there's that family pull there [in Perth]."
"It's his decision. If he stays, we'll be rapt, if he goes we'll support him."
The Cats are hoping to keep him and will only trade him if they can secure a high draft pick in return with West Coast's current picks in the early 20s unlikely to satisfy.
