Ex-Arsenal boss Wenger rejects Fulham job for second time this season

ARSENE WENGER's much anticipated return to football management will not take place with Fulham after the Frenchman rejected their approach – again.

Since leaving Arsenal last summer, Wenger has been touted for a number of jobs and was even linked with Craven Cottage in November.

That opportunity was rejected by the 69-year-old as he continued to wait for the correct moment to step back into the dugout.

According to Sportsmail, the time still isn't right to take over Fulham after the West London club enquired about him taking over from interim manager Scott Parker.

The former England midfielder won three in a row after relegation to the Championship was confirmed but hasn't been awarded a permanent contract.

It is said the club want to instil a big name coach for their push back to the big time.

That risks leaving Parker in the lurch with Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke and Alan Pardew also linked to the job.
