The heavyweight pair slugged out a thrilling war two years ago with Whyte edging a split decision.
Chisora, 34, has since dropped his Delboy nickname to be known simply as ‘War’ and has added 2012 opponent Haye to his corner for the December 22 re-run.
Hayemaker, 38, vowed to whip his old enemy in shape and that has started by stripping back his wild social life.
The former cruiser and heavyweight champ said: “Some of the decisions he has made I would not make, I am a bit of a control freak.
“I have not had to bang down the door to get him out of bed, he has worked very hard.
“He never bothered with massage before but is doing everything to get any advantage.
“I try to monitor everything and it is very difficult when someone is not used to that. Dereck gets very moody from time to time.
“He is working harder than he has ever worked before, he has never been as fit and he is living in the hotel near the gym.
“He has never done that before, he has always been in nightclubs or restaurants with his boys.
“I heard a rumour that on the day he was fighting me he was eating in Scotts restaurant in Mayfair just a few hours before, that is no more.”
Chisora found God last year and vowed to bin the booze in his bid to beat the 30-year-old Body Snatcher.
That is a huge turnaround for the North London wideboy who used to be on the town just hours before his biggest fights.
And Haye insists welcoming religion into his life has prepared Chisora for another 12-rounds of hell.
He said: “Both fighters are better now and have improved.
"They really know each other and this time round Dillian has had great recent success.
“I believe Dereck is in such better physical condition than the first fight.
“The volume and intensity of training has gone up so when it reaches that soul-searching section he is not fighting on fumes.
“He will be fighting for all three minutes of each round and he will be ready to walk through hell.”
