What is the teams news?
Gareth Southgate has never shied away from giving England's young prospects a chance.
Young players like Leicester's James Maddison, Borrussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Derby's Mason Mount have all received their first England senior squad call up.
There is a also a call up for Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley, who returns ahead of teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, to the squad after impressing under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
But Danny Rose and Alex McCarthy have had to withdraw from the squad, after picking up minor injuries.
Croatia will still be relying on most of their squad that got them to the World Cup final but will be without Danilej Subasic, Vedran Corluka and Mario Mandzukic who all retired following the conclusion of the tournament.
Just like in Russia this past summer, Croatia will be heavily relying on their captain, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric, who has just won FIFA's prestigious The Best award.
