MANCHESTER CITY are the leading contenders to sign Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
That's according to bookmakers Sky Bet, who've slashed the price of Ronaldo's Etihad arrival over the last 24 hours.

The Premier League champions were available at 16/1 to secure his signature.
But those odds have tumbled to 5/2 after claims Ronaldo's representatives have been in touch with City officials.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that agent Jorge Mendes 'contacted' City but Juventus' £20million price tag is proving a stumbling block.
Any potential deal is further ‘complicated’ as there's less than a week left before the end of the summer transfer window.
French newspaper L’Equipe add that Ronaldo has asked his compatriots Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, and Joao Cancelo about the club and dressing room.
Ronaldo's uncertain future continues to rumble on after the 36-year-old failed start Juve's Serie A opener against Udinese on Sunday.
Reports in Italy claim Ronaldo requested to be benched to preserve his fitness as he looks to secure a move away from Turin.
But manager Massimiliano Allegri fiercely denied the reports – insisting that it was solely his decision.
Allegri told DAZN: "Ronaldo is feeling well. I had talked to him before the game, telling him he would start on the bench."

Ronaldo has been the subject of transfer speculation throughout the summer.
The attacker has entered the final 12 months of his contract, which expires in June 2022.
But there are only a handful of clubs capable of meeting Ronaldo's salary demands, and that's why he's priced at 8/13 to stay at Juventus.
PSG are priced at 4/1 having been 16/1 on Monday.
The Parisian heavyweights have been rocked by Real Madrid's £137m bid for Kylian Mbappe and some have suggested that Ronaldo could be his replacement.
Manchester United are next at 16/1.
Ronaldo left Old Trafford in 2009 with an outstanding record of 118 goals and 69 assists in 292 appearances in all competitions.
He won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, two League Cups and the FA Cup during his six-season stay.
Real Madrid are 20/1 but Carlo Ancelotti dismissed the idea of Ronaldo returning to the Spanish giants any time soon.
He said: "Cristiano is a Real Madrid legend and he has all my love and respect. I have never considered signing him. We look forward."
Tottenham (33/1) have now emerged as a potential destination after claims from Sportitalia CEO Michele Crisciello.
He's quoted as saying: "Since he came back we have said it, there is a clear will on the part of Max Allegri not wanting to start again with Ronaldo and vice versa.
"The cycle of CR7 in black and white is over, confirmation has arrived in Udine. Even Tottenham [is a] possible destination.”
