The Chelsea star has been in great form recently, netting five times in his last eight matches.
Morata had been suffering from a lack of confidence before Maurizio Sarri’s arrival in June.
But the Spaniard appears to be back on track and determined to become a Stamford Bridge hero.
Morata told ABC: “I had never thought about training the mind really.
“When a player hears the word ‘psychologist’ at first, you are taken aback, but I realised that I needed help.
Is Morata the right man to lead Chelsea’s line?

ALVARO MORATA appears to be back in form under Maurizio Sarri.
The striker is loving life spearheading the attack, scoring five goals in his last eight matches.
But he is still squandering easy opportunities.
Morata should have had a hat-trick against Crystal Palace, but the Spaniard showed a complete lack of composure when he tried to chip the goalkeeper in a late one-on-on.
Fans have long thought that Morata lacks the killer instinct to turn a game on its head.
And Chelsea were crying out for a potent frontman to poke them ahead during the 0-0 draw with Everton last weekend.
Morata’s runs are also questionable, with the forward getting caught offside numerous times each month.
These woeful tendencies, paired with a disposition that sees Morata argue every decision that goes against him – even when the match is still going on – means Chelsea’s safest bet is to bring in a new attacker when the transfer window opens in January.
“At first, I was a bit embarrassed to talk to the psychologist and tell him all my problems and with the help of everyone I have managed to recover happiness in football.
“This summer I said to myself once or twice that I wanted to go to a team where I would happy again, without pressure.
“Now I am happier than ever at Chelsea and happier than ever in the national team, even if it is not my best moment on the pitch.”
However, former Blues defender Gary Chivers warned Morata he must improve further to remain at the club, telling Love Sport Radio: “He needs a couple of chances now to put away one.
“He’s still nothing for me but maybe they’re looking at that.
“Maybe they’re looking at the January transfer window and waiting for that to come.
“It is something that obviously needs addressing.
“You’ve got Olivier Giroud who comes on and plays well, they’ve been in and out, the pair of them this year.”
