Chelsea have created more chances than their top four rivals despite being hammered for boring Sarriball

The Italian has been slammed by supporters on countless occasions this season with many even demanding Roman Abramovich swings the axe.

Sarri's stubbornness has been called into question after refusing to play N'Golo Kante in his favoured defensive midfield position.

His reluctance to hand Callum Hudson-Odoi more first team opportunities has also frustrated fans.

Chelsea currently sit sixth, three points behind Arsenal in fourth but with a game in hand over their rivals.

But the stats show that supporters should keep the faith in their manager because the lack of goals over their rivals is not through the lack of trying.

They have created 370 chances this season, 72 more than Manchester United in second.

Tottenham have created 296 while Arsenal are at the bottom of the pile with 287.

But the trouble has been turning those chances into goals.

Compared to the rest of the top six, Sarri's side have the lowest tally with 50 in 29 matches.

United and Spurs have 58 and 57 respectively while Arsenal have 63.

Sarri reunited with striker Gonzalo Higuain in January but the Argentine has struggled to set the Premier League alight so far.

He has scored three in his opening six matches that came against relegation-bound Fulham and Huddersfield.
