Celtic want Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe on loan but Eddie Howe concerned about injuries to team-mate Arnaut Danjuma – The Sun

BOURNEMOUTH winger Jordon Ibe is wanted by Celtic on loan.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe is now weighing up whether to allow Ibe out as there are concerns over Arnaut Danjuma’s foot injury.

Ibe has also attracted interest from foreign clubs but Bournemouth could need the 23-year-old for cover as Danjuma has aggravated a problem that ruled him out for four months last season.

The £13.7million signing from Club Brugge went for scans on his injury – leaving Ibe sweating on a season-long move.

Howe only has Harry Wilson, Ryan Fraser and Ibe as wide options now that Danjuma has joined David Brooks and Junior Stanislas in the treatment room.

Ibe was on the bench against Sheffield United at the weekend and Howe has been considering allowing him out.

Italian club Napoli have enquired about him, while Italian club Fiorentina and Espanyol in Spain have also shown interest.

Turkish giants Galatasaray have also tracked Ibe but the opportunity to play for the Scottish champions would be difficult to resist for Ibe.

For Bournemouth, though, the biggest blow could be Brooks' absence.

The Wales star, 22, who was on the shortlist for PFA young player of the year last term, is out for three months after having surgery on his injured ankle.

Cherries midfielder Dan Gosling, 29, was ruled out at the end of July for a similar length of time.

And England Under-21 defender Lloyd Kelly, a summer recruit from Bristol City, also joined Bournemouth's lit of crocks.

The 20-year-old took a knock in training ahead of their 1-1 Premier League opener against newly-promoted sheffield United.
