JOSE MOURINHO gave a in-depth insight into how he could transform Arsenal's attack if he was in charge and it left fans torn whether they would have him as manager.
The Portuguese boss was in the Sky Sports studio as a pundit for the Gunners' thrilling 2-2 draw with North London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery unleashed attacking trio Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe for the first time.
Aubameyang started on the left of the three with Lacazette playing through the middle.
Once the Frenchman went off injured, Auba took up the central role and scored a terrific equaliser to snatch a point for the home side.
And after the game, the Gabon superstar admitted that prefers playing through the middle which sparked a debate in the studio on how to get the best out of the forward.
Jose Mourinho said: "I think Aubameyang likes to play through the middle because he believes he can score more goals.
"Maybe he can score as many goals playing on the left.
"What happens for Liverpool, Firmino drops back and gives more space for Salah and Mane to attack the diagonals.
"I could see Aubameyang playing on the left for Liverpool and scoring a lot of goals. Lacazette doesn't have that quality.
"They have two options. One is to play, instead of having three midfielders playing across a line, have a No.10 that can feed the three.
"Another situation is to bring Pepe from the right into the inside. They can build with three at the back, they can put a right-back completely wide and bring a winger to the inside.
"Pepe coming in and finding Aubameyang with his left foot. Arsenal have a lot of solutions."
Some Arsenal supporters were impressed with his analysis with one writing: "Jose Mourinho will be the next manager of Arsenal."
Another added: "Can't wait until Mourinho is Arsenal manager."
However the majority don't want the Portuguese manager anywhere near their club.
One fumed: "Some fans genuinely wouldn't mind Mourinho as our next manager. The state of this. I don't want him anywhere near my club. Toxic individual who has berated Arsenal for years."
Another chimed: "Would rather extract my eyeballs with a rusty spork than see Jose Mourinho become manager of The Arsenal Football Club."
