ARSENAL will reportedly scrap it out with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich for £31million-rated Real Madrid star Lucas Vasquez.
Los Blancos are said to be in talks with the Gunners over the transfer of the Spain winger, according to Madrid daily AS.
Inter Milan are also thought to be interested in the 28-year-old, who made 47 appearances for Real last season.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is thought to have made defensive acquisitions his top priority but will need widemen with rumours Henrikh Mkhitaryan could leave.
Vasquez is targeting a starting spot for Spain at the European Championship finals next summer, so feels he will get more game time if he moves to The Emirates.
The Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League so have less money to spend this summer.
Emery, also chasing Wilfried Zaha, has reportedly been told he can have any money he makes so will try and beat PSG and Munich by offering more money up front for the winger.
