Aristia outstayed her rivals in the VRC Oaks to give training duo Simon Zahra and Matt Ellerton their first group 1 success since 2011.
The three-year-old backed up her win in the Wakeful Stakes on Saturday with a burst of speed at the top of the straight under jockey Damian Lane that saw her pass Sydney stayer Greysful Glamour in the run to the line.

It had been a long time between drinks for the popular training pair, who are cousins, with their most recent group 1 winner being Response in the 2011 Robert Sangster Stakes.
The fairytale story almost happened too when Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Michelle Payne rode Miner's Miss into third place at 100-1 in the first time she has ridden in a group 1 for her dad, Paddy Payne senior.
Paddy Payne only returned to training in December to get him out of the house again and the outsider ran brilliantly.
However it was Aristia's race with the horse now having two wins and five minor placings from 11 starts after breaking her maiden status on Saturday.
Verry Elegant never settled while Amphritrite did not appear to run the distance with both Darren Weir runners disappointing.
