BARCELONA are looking to sign Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo, according to reports.
Marca claim that a deal could be struck as soon as January, after it was suggested the Catalan giants could wait until the summer to snap up the attacking midfielder.
The Spanish star has excelled at the Croatian club since moving overseas to kick-start his career.
According to the report, Barcelona aren't far off the valuation Zagreb have placed on Olmo's head.
Olmo began his career at the Camp Nou, and spent seven years there as a youth after joining from rivals Espanyol.

REAL MADRID want to recall Jesus Vallejo from his season-long loan at Wolves, according to reports.
The defender, 22, joined the Molineux side in July and made his debut for the club in a Europa League qualifier against FC Pyunik.
But things have not gone according to plan for the youngster, despite settling well off the field in the West Midlands.
He has made just seven appearances across all competitions under Nuno Espirito Santo, totalling 612 minutes of action as he struggles to break into the back three of Conor Coady, Ryan Bennett and Romain Saiss.
The lack of football has put the Spain Under-21 international's place at next summer's Tokyo Olympics in major doubt.
So now, according to AS, Real are determined to terminate the loan deal as soon as possible.
Doing so in January would then enable Los Blancos to loan Vallejo back out to another club in the transfer window. -
BENFICA have signed midfielder Julian Weigl from Borussia Dortmund for £20million.
The 24-year-old was being tracked by Manchester City in the summer as Pep Guardiola searched for potential Fernandinho replacements.
Guardiola opted for Rodri from Atletico Madrid in a £62.5million deal as Weigl went on to make 20 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund.
Despite interest elsewhere in Europe, Portuguese giants Benfica have won the race to the holding midfielder.
It came after Weigl requested to leave Dortmund.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorcsaid: “Julian came to us with this wish and we agreed – also because of his services to the club.
“We wish him all the best for his future.”

REAL MADRID have made contact with Sadio Mane's representatives over a mega transfer, according to reports.
The Spanish giants are understood to be very interested in signing the Liverpool forward, who has been in red-hot form over the last 18 months.
And according to Le10 Sport, Los Blancos got in touch with Mane's people to enquire about the possibility of a deal being done.
The same report adds that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is keen to link Mane up with Karim Benzema in attack.
There are even suggestions Zidane has spoken to Mane personally to try and convince the 27-year-old to join the Bernabeu club.
But it is thought any potential transfer would not take place until the summer rather than in the January window.
Mane penned a new contract in November 2018, extending his deal to 2023 – it means Liverpool are in a strong position and would surely demand more than the £145million they sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for in 2018.
The Senegal international has bagged 14 times this season, adding to the 26 he netted in 2018/19.

ASTON VILLA are targeting a surprise move for Chelsea outcast Danny Drinkwater to help save them from relegation.
Drinkwater has spent the first half of the season on loan at Burnley but his time at Turf Moor has been beset by off-field problems and injury.
The England international suffered an injury after becoming involved in a fight on a boozy night out which has limited his impact with the Clarets to just two first team appearances.
Drinkwater, 29, is contracted to Burnley until January 6 but the club are set to send him back to Chelsea instead of extending it until the end of the season.
Blues boss Frank Lampard has already decided that the former Leicester star does not play any part in his plans for the club moving forward.
And now Chelsea officials are looking to move him on from Stamford Bridge again if they can find a club willing to take him on.
According to Sky Sports, one club who could be open to that prospect is relegation threatened Villa.
