MAURICIO POCHETTINO says today is D-Day for Christian Eriksen’s Tottenham future.
The Great Dane’s destiny remains up in the air, with neither Real Madrid nor any other club making a decisive move for Spurs’ creative maestro.
And Pochettino insists that unless things start to move today, there will be no time to complete a deal before the European transfer window closes on Monday night.
The Tottenham boss said: “The good thing is that if nothing happens, it’s because it’s not going to happen on Monday.
“On Sunday it’s the game, and there’s no real time to do something.
“We are going to know if Christian is going to be with us or not. That’s the most important thing.”

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident Fred will stay at the club.
Fred, 26, has failed to make an impact and is being lined up with a move to Fiorentina.
But Solskjaer doesn't think the midfielder will leave before the European transfer window closes.
He said: “August is the most difficult period to manage a big squad because there's only one game a week and everybody's fit because we've had pre-season, and everyone's ready to play.
“In September, October, November – when injuries come – that's when you have most of the games. So, he [Fred] will play plenty of football.”

ALEXIS SANCHEZ'S woeful spell at Manchester United was “not his fault”, according to Pep Guardiola.
The Chilean flop, 30, ended his turbulent spell at Old Trafford as he joined Inter Milan on a season-long loan earlier this week.
The Manchester City boss revealed: “I know [Sanchez]. We worked together in Barcelona.
“I have a special affection for him as a player, of course, but especially as a human being.
“He's an incredible, humble guy and a fighter.”

MAN United bosses were so convinced that star man Paul Pogba would leave over the summer that they dropped him from their official calendar.
The World Cup winner and former skipper is the Red Devil’s biggest name player but there’s no spot for him in the club’s official 2020 datebook.
He is one of the club’s most value commercial drawers assets across the globe and features heavily on the club shop’s website and in marketing campaigns to flog merchandise.
But he was so unsettled after United’s poor 2018/2019 campaign that he seemed certain to quit the club – and so there’s no place for him in the line-up on the £6.99 product.
