Brainteasers are one of the best ways to push the brain, one of the body’s most important organs, to its limits.
There are several types of brainteasers. They can be analytical, observational, or mathematical. This latest brainteaser from Play Minesweeper is an example of an observational brainteaser.
Above you have two seemingly identical Christmas scenes and your job is to be able to spot the differences between them.
According to the creators behind the brainteaser, this is a great way to relax. A spokesperson said: “Not only is this a super quick way to get in the festive mood this year, but it’s also a great way to take a few minutes to relax.
“This ‘Spot the Difference’ game is the perfect blend of festive fun and mindful play.”
Did you spot all of the differences? No worries if not, the answers are above. The five main differences are that the candle stick on the right is different from the one on the left and the little ornament on the right as opposed to the one on the left which is brown.
Furthermore, there is a bauble missing from the wreath on the left, the final stocking in the right image is green rather than red, and one of the baubles on the right tree is white rather than golden.
While brainteasers may seem like quite a bit of fun to do on the morning commute or during a quiet moment at Christmas, they could be more than just a distraction. According to some experts, they can act like exercise for the mind and keep it sharper.
The healthier the mind is the less likely someone might be to develop a neurodegenerative condition such as dementia. This doesn’t mean that doing brainteasers will stop you from developing the condition but it could help keep the brain healthier for longer.
