New business current account ANNA launched its original miaowing debit card back in September.
Now, following a successful trial period which saw miaowing transactions all across the UK, ANNA have invited self-employed people who are also cat owners to send a recording of their pet to be the new voice of the card.
Daljit Singh, Chief Design Officer at ANNA, said: “Last year we gave people what they never knew they wanted – a debit card that miaows when you pay.
“We’re really pleased with the initial success and are celebrating reaching 5,000 customers with our competition to find the ‘purrfect’ sound of ANNA. With an estimated 11.1million cats in the UK, we’re very much looking forward to seeing all the entries!”
Ideal for small business owners, side hustlers and freelancers, their features include creating sales or purchase invoices for customers, and politely chasing up payments due from sales invoices.
ANNA cards are available to to any UK resident who is a director of a limited company and non-limited businesses that are structured as a partnership or sole trader.
