With the premiership season about to kick off, football fans around the world are preparing to see their favourite clubs go head-to-head.
While Tottenham Hotspurs isn’t exactly top of the league, it seems that fans can finally claim that they are – at least when it comes to sex .
A new survey of over 4,000 football fans by LELO UK has revealed which supporters have the best sex, with Spurs fans coming out on top.
The results revealed that nearly three quarters (71%) of Spurs fans estimate that their partner reaches orgasm every time they have sex.
However, when it comes personal performance, supporters of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City considered themselves the best, with fans giving themselves an average score of 6.22 out of 10.
At the other end of the scale were Brighton and Hove Albion fans, who rated themselves just 4.6 out of 10 in the bedroom.
Despite this, Brighton and Hove Albion fans appear to be the most sexually active, with 87% saying they have sex at least once a week.
Meanwhile, Wet Ham were the least sexually active, with 19% saying they never have sex at all!
Kate Moyle, a sex expert at LELO UK, said: “We want people all across the country to bring the same passion and dedication that they have for football, into the bedroom.
“The results of our research though shows that there are massive gaps between the quality of the sex being enjoyed by footballs fans across all of the Premier League teams.
“It also shows that how well you think you perform doesn’t necessarily transfer to how satisfied you and your partner are after sex.
“With the new football season about to start, we’re challenging Brits to get playing a very different type of sport this summer.
“It’s time to get Britain talking about sex and ensure couples are able to speak freely about what makes them happy in the bedroom.”
