The UFOs or unidentified flying objects were seen over Wales and England earlier last week. Eyewitness accounts shared on social media reported a train of bright lights moving across the starlit sky.
Then on the weekend, more eyewitnesses reported the lights over South Yorkshire and Oxfordshire in England.
One Twitter user wrote: “Just saw some thought provoking lights in the sky #UFO anyone else seen creepy stuff? I kid you not.”
Another person wrote: “Over Sheffield? I just seen some strange lights.”
Another Twitter user counted at least 20 fast-moving lights dashing through the skies above Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The person wrote: “A very (above aeroplanes I saw) high trail of lights, 20 or so travelling in single file?
“Saw this about 40 mins ago above Bicester, Oxfordshire.
“At first I thought was a satellite, but numbers of lights put idea out of my head.
“Seemed to fade out the same point. Weird!”
According to NorthWalesLive, people also saw the mystery UFOs flying over North Wales earlier this month.
Mel Clark took a picture of the phenomenon over Llanddaniel Fab, Anglesey, saying: “Thought these were stars until I stopped walking and realised they were moving.
“A straight line of 20 to 30 I’d say, all uniform distance apart.

“A friend is convinced she saw the same thing on the morning of December 6 at 6.45am.
“My photo is 6.05pm this evening. I’m guessing planes although there was no sound.
“Can you shed some light on it, she is convinced it’s UFO’s!!! I’m a non believer.. sticking with planes!!”

Astronomers have since confirmed the lights seen all over the UK did indeed come from outer space.
But their presence in our night skies can be attributed to rocket mogul and South African billionaire Elon Musk and not extraterrestrial visitors from Mars.
According to The East Anglian Astrophysical Research Organisation (EAARO), the moving lights were a train of SpaceX satellites known as Starlink.
EAARO said in a tweet: “If you see these over the UK they are NOT UFO’s but satellites that are part of the Space-X Starlink project to provide accessible internet to everyone.”
SpaceX’s Starlink is a proposed constellation of tens of thousands of internet-beaming satellites that could one day populate low Earth orbit (LEO).
SpaceX aims to put as many as 42,000 of these satellites into space in the coming years to cover the whole planet with broadband.
The company launched 60 of the satellite in November 2019 but the move has been criticised by astronomers.
Astronomers have dubbed the plans “a mess” following concerns a high concentration of flashy satellites in LEO will hinder astronomical observations.
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) said in June 2019: “We do not yet understand the impact of thousands of these visible satellites scattered across the night sky and despite their good intentions, these satellite constellations may threaten both.”
