“I don’t wanna be just a good pilot, I wanna be a couple steps above”

His business, Mile High TC, operates a light aircraft that’s been fitted with a double bed and a discreet curtain so the pilot can’t see what the passengers are doing.
Unless, you know, that’s your thing too.
Scott told The Pulse that he had the idea in the back of his mind for a long time before actually starting in earnest: “Ever since I got my pilot’s license, first time my wife got in the airplane I said, ‘Let’s join the mile high club!’ and she said, ‘Shut up and fly the plane you idiot.’”
Later, he made a website for Mile High TC but more or less forgot about it.
Until his website came to the attention of two local radio DJs who mentioned it on air – leading to scot being inundated with hundreds of from would-be high altitude lovers.
He has, he tells Pulse, taken up a couple in their 70’s, and also a couple where the woman was pregnant.
He says it’s most commonly the woman in the couple that makes the booking: “I warn guys if they’re surprising the girl that does not always go over well. The reverse? We have never had an issue. Ever.
“I’m under the impression that women are slightly more particular of who’s around them when they’re being intimate.”
Scott flies out of the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. Flights cost $390.00 per couple and includes a ‘mile high club’ membership certificate.
