During the throws of passion the last thing you should be thinking about is your face, but a new survey suggests that many Brits are self-conscious about their sex faces.
The survey, by LELO, found that almost half of Brits have faked an orgasm due to feeling self-conscious about their face.
In the survey LELO asked 4,000 men and women about their sex lives, and found that 64% of Brits have faked orgasms, with 49% of them admitting this was due to embarrassment over their face at climax.
Kate Moyle, LELO UK’s sex expert said: “People have been faking orgasms for too long, and a big part of the problem is that we still have a long way to go in normalising the conversation around sex.
“Many people feel under pressure to fake orgasms as they feel their partner will expect it, and that's because we don't have and aren't given a solid education around more realistic expectations of sex.”
Sadly, the results also revealed that those who feel self-conscious about the faces they make during sex are also the least likely to reach climax.
To help people to feel more comfortable about their sex faces, LELO is launching a photo booth in London, where attendees will be encouraged to capture their fake ‘O’ face.
