End of the world: Bible expert warns ‘eerie’ OMEN of end times will appear on Halloween

The ominous Blue Moon will make an appearance on the night of October 31, just three days before the US Presidential election is held. Pastor Paul Begley, a frequent purveyor of doomsday prophecies and conspiracy theories, believes this to be a Biblical sign from the heavens that will precede the eventual Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In a recent broadcast watched by more than 12,000 people, the Indiana-based preacher urged his followers to prepare.

He said: “Let me just tell you a little bit more about this Blue Moon on Halloween.

“It is rare. We won’t have another one of these till 2039 – another Blue Moon on Halloween.

“They are extremely rare anyway, and then when they hit on a Halloween, that’s just eerie.

“Especially the Halloween just before the most important election in American history.”

Pastor Begley is the host of the weekly TV series The Coming Apocalypse, where he links Bible scripture to modern-day events.

In particular, he expects prophecies regarding the rise of the Antichrist and the construction of Jerusalem’s Third Temple to come to fruition.

And on an almost daily basis, he posts videos to his YouTube channel where has amassed more than 338,000 subscribers.

In his most recent broadcast, he linked the Blue Moon to the US election, to Israel’s peace deal with the United Arab Emirates and the ongoing California fires.

The preacher said: “The Sun has darkened. Somebody in the chatroom has just said it’s 9.30 in the morning in California and the skies are dark and red.

It’s prophetic because God set it up and look when it hits

Paul Begley, The Coming Apocalypse

“Ominous, apocalyptic, it looks catastrophic of a Biblical proportion.

“And while that’s going on, guess what? You’ve got the Middle East accords and President Donald Trump was just nominated this morning for the Novel Peace Prize for his instrumental ability to get the United Arab Emirates to sign a peace accord with Israel.”

Pastor Begley is a fervent believer in Bible prophecy and has made similar claims on numerous past occasions.

He frequently spreads doomsday rumours about Blood Moon lunar eclipses and has said the hoax planet Nibiru threatens to sideswipe Earth.

He now said of the upcoming Blue Moon: “It’s prophetic because God set it up and look when it hits.

“You won’t see this Blue Moon on Halloween again until the year 2039.”

But there is nothing prophetic about this lunar phenomenon and it most likely is not a sign of Jesus Christ’s return.

Although rare, the Moon will not turn blue and it is a matter of coincidence it will fall on the night of Halloween.

There are various descriptions of what a Blue Moon is, with the most popular describing the second of two Full Moons in the same calendar month.

According to the Farmers’ Almanac, this happens on average every two-and-a-half to three years.

This is also the case when four Full Moons appear in a calendar season – the third is called a Blue Moon.

The Almanac said: “When you look at the Full Moon on Halloween night, it won’t appear blue in colour but you’ll be looking at something pretty uncommon.

“A Full Moon on Halloween occurs roughly once every 19 years—a pattern known as the Metonic Cycle.

“This well-known lunar cycle was discovered in 432 BC by the Greek, Meton, of Athens.”
