Friday’s Area 51 raid seems to be losing steam.
There are warnings to potential ‘Naruto Runners’ of an armed response if anyone tries to breach the perimeter of the top-secret Groom Lake base.
The Federal Air authority has also introduced "temporary flight restrictions for special security reasons," creating a no-fly zone across the region between September 18 and 23.
And would-be attendees have been reminded more than once "Alienstock", the viral Facebook event that started the whole ball rolling, has been cancelled by instigator Matty Roberts. He has described the cancellation of the event as “a fantastic relief.”

And it’s likely, anyway, that if the US government were holding extraterrestrial visitors, or even above-top-secret spaceplanes, at Groom Lake they would at least temporarily been relocated to an even more secret base somewhere else.
All that awaits the dwindling number of attendees is a barren desert full of snakes, scorpions, and motion detectors that will bring armed guards down on the heads of intruders very quickly.

On the other hand, there’s an Area 51 party taking place in Las Vegas, hosted by Matty Roberts and sponsored by Budweiser.
The All-American beer brand has even released a limited edition can for its popular Bud Light, with alien-green livery and featuring the classic image of a Grey Alien.
It’s all part of a playful take on the raid adopted by Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Bud Light.
They had initially posted on Twitter, "We'd like to be the first brand to formally announce that we will not be sponsoring the Area 51 raid." But they followed up with "Screw it. Free Bud Light to any alien that makes it out.”

After that they promised alien-branded cans if they got enough social media response. Clearly they did get enough because now it’s here.
Labelling on the can reads: ”Greetings Earthlings. This is the famous Area 51 'We know of no space beer by any other life form which is brewed and aged to be more refreshing'.
"Our cryogenic ageing produces a light bodied space lager with a fresh taste, a crisp, clean finish, and a smooth drinkability.
"Take us to your leader…for drinks."
